I have been a Sparks fan since 1974 and I have all their studio albums, several greatest hits compilations and the Profile 2CD and the Heaven & Hell Collection and had always thought I was their biggest fan, until I started looking at this forum! I know quite a few of the B-sides and some other obscure songs, but I haven't heard of half the songs on the Ultimate Encore list! Where has everyone managed to find all these songs?

As there seems to be some debate about people voting for a song more than once, perhaps someone could setup a Poll, with all the songs mentioned so far. As far as I can tell, once you've voted in a particular poll, you are unable to vote in it again.

Also as the current list is full of obscure songs which may alienate the less fanatical members of the audience at the final show, two polls could be created. One poll would just contain all the songs which appeared on the original albums (ie. no B-sides nor extra tracks that appeared on later CD versions) and a second poll for all the B-sides and rare and obscure songs. Then Sparks could pick some from the top of each list and then everyone's happy!


I'd love Christie Haydn to turn up to sing "What Would Katherine Hepburn Say" as she did on the 94/95 tour, or perhaps get Jane Wiedlin for "Cool Places" or if you really want something obscure, how about "Dancing is Dangerous" which R+R wrote and produced for Noel in 1979?
