Yes, Sparks will be onstage at 8.45pm BST and don't forget they're on The Culture Show Uncut tonight on BBC2 at 11.35pm or watch it later on the BBC iPlayer (may not work outside UK). _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree. |

I think that's about 6 Irish altogether...I believe that's a sufficent amount to warrant a Sparks gig in Dublin! |

I'm happy to say the stream is working great here. Sounds great. I Thought I Told You To Wait In The Car just started. My favorite song from this record! |

Started ok, then stopped in the middle of When Do I Get to Sing 'My Way'? and nothing I've tried has got it going again.
Oh well, I'm seeing them all in person from here on anyway... |

Tsui Hark - brilliant. Did Ron say the intro speech was 10 times longer than the song? _________________ But when I trimmed it real small my Jewish friends would never call. |

I'm lost for words. If you saw it you know how good it was. If you missed it, you missed out.
Russell's best performance yet, matched by his best jacket yet. Ron was, er....welll....Ron. Every track magnificent. Tsui Hark was the absolute highlight of this and any other night ever anywhere!!!!
Didn't think they would top Indiscreet and Big Beat, but they have.
I need say no more.

I hope the stream came on for folks. I was lucky - no problems. I have to say, besides the five shows at the start that I saw live (of course), this was probably the best I've seen, an absolutely fantastic show. Russell - how does he do it? I do worry about him; yet tonight I think his voice was stronger than ever. The songs were lush and melodic and captured - and even transcended - the beauty of the album (one that's really grown on me over the years).
From about the middle - "wait in the car" or thereabouts - Russell just took it to another level. Mind Boggling.
And Ron stole the show! What a treat that was!
How fortunate we are...how fortunate... _________________ Check out my new YouTube show all about Sparks and their fans! It's at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QvkUP_P9O0&ab_channel=MonteMallin - thanks! |
