Saw DLSvsSP at he Propaganda gig and thought they were great and bought the album...which is superb!

Got tickets to see them at Glasgow next month and taking my daughter as a wee 17th birthday treat for her :o)

Bad Terrorists. Their version of 'I Thought I Told You To Wait In The Car' was fun, and most of their songs were just as witty.

Have only been to 8 shows, and only see/heard 6 support acts.

I liked them all but Rosalitas was a good one before BB. The sad lullabies from Gamides(?) were a change of pass but okay. the Standard was also great as was Rumble Sticks.

I really loved Mustached Widow, my personal favourite.

In my opinion, there were too many straight rock bands. They were talented and all that, but I think Sparks needs more special stuff.
But I really liked The Standards, though. Good songs.

le sac vs pip was interesting, I quite liked them. Electric Soft Parade was dull, until that amazing guy came on and gave us the best version of Moonraker I've ever heard. Brilliant.

And I must say, I'd never heard The Young Knives before, but I do believe they're quite overrated.

i'm biased, but moustached widow and bad terrorists were excellent. as was stuart flynn when he did his bit with the electric soft parade.

i agree with the support being too indie rock orientated, although i suppose anyone supporting sparks was inescapably going to pale in comparison. there were some godawful support acts though, as the little group of us who regularly escaped to sit on the stairs at the entrance would readily attest to..

Of the ones i saw Dan & Scroobius were magic.I thought the set was brilliant, interwoven with Scroobius' humour.Through this performance i have got a couple of the younger lads from our football team checking them out on youtube and loving their stuff.Loved every minute of it and did'nt want their set to end.When he had the guts to say "Sparks just a band" in front of around 500 Sparks fans-priceless.I would gladly pay good money to see them as headliners.

From a music point of view I enjoyed Rosalita, The Young Knives, Thge Autons and Electric Soft Parade. An honourable mention too to Scroobius and Dan who I thought were better second time round. For overall performance Moustached Widow and Bad Terrorists were highly entertaining and both are once seen never forgotten acts. As for the rest well largely forgettable and all those bands in the middle seem to merge into one but lets not forget the genius of Rod Thomas - no one can shake an egg like that man.

I'm going to buy their album next pay cheque.

The Rumble Strips I liked but they were very much like Dexy's

um who else I quite liked some of Rosalita's set.

Is it unfair to say everything else blew? f*** art let's ROCK.

Yeh, the ESP version of Moonraker was pretty incredible, wasn't it?

My personal favourite was Pete du Pon, who was the support act for Interior Design: he was awesome.
