Grounds for divorce or what!

It’s shocking but true. I always thought my other half was merely being tolerant of my love for Sparks though I suppose the number of times we sing along to ‘Live in Stockholm’ together should have warned me. But after all he’s not been interested in my Youtube collection; he’s not the one who has been glued to an erratic web stream only 4cm high every night for the past month, he isn’t filling his hard drive with grainy pictures of Russell’s snappy suits. And yet now, now the weekend I’m going away and will miss the very last concert, he mentions in passing that he’s got a ticket and is going down to see Sparks.

What’s the most expensive and/or coolest thing on the merchandise stall I can guilt him into buying for me?

I think he should get you two of everything (send a set to me please). And arrange for Ron and Russell to come and play Happy Birthday to you (whenever that may be).

I must admit I'm feeling very vulnerable to the Power of Merchandising right now. If Sparks were to release a DVD of Ron painting his back bedroom I'd probably buy it.
